Translating an existing logo for use on signage can be a challenge. In this case, our designer needed to alter Mercantile Bank's original artwork to enhance legibility without destroying the integrity of the corporate identity.

By changing the logo's proportions and switching to a horizontal format, the designer was able to increase the text size to make the bank's name more readable.

The designer also changed the sign background to gold, reflecting the gold used in the original logo and resulting in a more eye-catching sign.

The signs were constructed with aluminum extrusion using Panaflex faces with gold opaque vinyl for the background, burgundy translucent vinyl for the logo and white translucent copy.
