An extremely large and complicated project was undertaken when Valley City Sign took on the wayfinding for the city of Kalamazoo. Working with an outside design firm and the city itself, VCS came up with a unique fabrication system to allow for signs that were damaged to be replaced with just one of the components instead of

replacing the entire sign. Valley City Sign also manufactured a vandal proof system of mounting the signs to cut down on the number of signs that are stolen from posts or vandalized in other ways. These colorful and finely crafted signs are the state of the art in wayfinding
systems.
