The B.O.B., which stands for "Big Old Building", is a historic warehouse that now houses a variety of bars and restaurants. The old-fashioned sign design helps remind customers of the building's history. The cabinet is fabricated aluminum with a row of lights designed to resemble "chaser lights" like those found on old movie marquees outlining its border.

Routed out, pushed through lettering is used for the letters at the top of the cabinet, while the "BOB" letters are built from fabricated aluminum channels with clear Plexiglas faces to display the neon illumination. For maximum visibility, the sign is double faced and mounted so that it projects from the wall.
