And so is the historic Red Lion sign, which is an entry into this year's competition. Red Lion was a restaurant known for its delicious chili dogs. It closed in 2004, but we had the opportunity to restore their original pylon sign.
This sign is now re-installed in a parking lot at 412 Bridge Street. We fabricated new cabinets, cleaned and polished the faces, and installed new neon and light bulbs for the letters and arrow. Come downtown to experience Artprize 2021 and check out this unique historic sign!
