Valley City Sign seeks a Vinyl Application Specialist to join our team. The vinyl application specialist will fabricate and install vinyl graphics for various clients and industries. A successful candidate will have experience installing vinyl graphics, sign faces, and lettering. We place a premium on a good attitude and willingness to learn. We will mentor and train the right person.

WHAT DO WE DO?
As a premier west Michigan-based sign company, we build all types of Signs! We use aluminum, steel, plastics, paints, and all substrates to create our products. Our customers include banks, car washes, municipalities, large corporations, hospitals, schools and universities, casinos, sports teams, and many local businesses. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Operate and maintain vinyl application equipment and tools, such as plotters, laminators, and heat guns 

• Prepare and install vinyl graphics, sign faces, and lettering on a variety of substrates, including metal, wood, and plastic 

• Measure and mark surfaces where vinyl graphics will be applied 

• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met 

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Maintain accurate records of job orders and materials used

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• 2+ years of experience in vinyl application preferred

• Active Listening Skills 

• Good communicator Strong attention to detail

• Good organizational skills

• Knowledge of hand tools 

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings 

• Excellent problem-solving skills 

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Commitment to exceptional customer service
